Autumn Inspiration

Earlier I used to think that there is something melancholic about Sundays. Nowadays I notice that on Sundays I’m often full of ideas and more creative and than any other day of the week. Probably because I have more time to read… Today again sitting outside in the sun (what an incredibly beautiful and warm autumn weather!) with coffee and a pile of interior magazines and books :) Life tastes good!

Very soon it’s time to nestle comfortably inside for the dark evenings… Cosiness and candle light, welcome! I’m prepared for the darkness with these colourful candles from the lovely Finnish candle factory Desico (http://www.desico.fi).

Happy Christmas Time!

A lot of candles, being together with the family, Christmassy aromas from the kitchen, night church, snow, snow, snow...

Flea Market Finds

Look at these beauties! The white pot at the back is fom Ikea, the rest from a trip to a flea market/antique shop in Franeker. A friend of mine and I share a passion: strolling endlessly in second hand shops... So we go hunting for finds regularly.

World Restaurant (Wereld-eethuis)

Last weekend in Rotterdam we came across a colorful restaurant called Bazar (http://www.bazarrotterdam.nl). Very cosy interior, nice terrace for warm days and most importantly, an extremely attractive exotic menu. Pity that it was afternoon already, otherwise I would have loved to try the Algerian pancakes for breakfast. Maybe next time... The place is worth checking!

PS. Bazar comprises also a hotel beside the restaurant, probably great too!
